The subject of much discussion among T206 “printing freak” enthusiasts, the offered 1909 Piedmont Bill Bradley (Portrait) exhibits a haunting image of Ty Cobb (Red Portrait) on the reverse. Graded 10 Poor 1 by SGC, this antiquity displays a combination of wear commensurate with its technical grade. The bold overlying image is placed on the clean reverse with traces of the original red portrait coloring evident. This ghostly oddity will assuredly garner much interest among Hall of Fame collectors and Cobb historians.
